The Lip Recovery Process

Day 1: Following the procedure, the lips will feel slightly tight and uncomfortable.
Day 2: Lips will be tight, dry, and preparing to peel.
Days 3-4: The peeling process will complete, revealing a light and uneven color. The lip line may exhibit variations in shade compared to the inner part of the lips. As the skin is still new, the lips will be dry, requiring frequent moisturizing.
Days 10-30: The lip color will darken and become uneven, varying depending on individual physiology. This is a normal occurrence.
Days 35-40: The lip color will gradually become more vibrant, and the lips will start to show their true color, appearing smooth and supple, necessitating regular moisturizing.
Days 50-60: The lip color will stabilize. A touch-up procedure can be performed if a more intense color is desired.

4 Principles

Principles to Adhere to Following Lip Blushing

Approximately 6-8 hours after the lip tattooing procedure, gently blot any residual tissue fluid from the lips using a dry tissue.

During the first 3 days post-procedure: In the initial days immediately following lip tattooing, it is crucial to minimize contact between the lips and water. Pay particular attention during activities such as drinking, washing the face, and rinsing the mouth, as these are times when water can easily come into contact with the lips. Exercise extreme caution regarding the hygiene of the tattooed lips after eating.

You should consume soft foods such as porridge and soup to minimize water contact with the lips.

Remember, if food comes into contact with your lips, gently wipe them with a clean cloth and then cleanse the lips again using physiological saline solution.

Post-Lip Blushing Care Regimen

Post-lip blushing: Prevent lip blisters by maintaining meticulous hygiene and taking Acyclovir for prophylaxis.
There are two main causes of lip blisters:
+ Poor hygiene leading to infection (which can occur during the lip healing process).
+ Individual predisposition (occurring after the lips have just healed)
=> Immediately take Acyclovir 400mg after the lip procedure, twice daily (morning and afternoon), for 5 days.
Maintain clean lips after eating to prevent infection (this is a rare occurrence).
Avoid direct water contact with the lips for the initial 4-6 hours post-procedure.
Apply moisturizing ointment after 24-30 hours (once the lips have fully healed and are preparing to peel).
Drink plenty of water and supplement with vitamins by consuming green vegetables and fruits.
Avoid consuming foods that can easily cause inflammation, such as various types of raw fermented sauces (fermented fish sauce, fermented shrimp paste, fermented thick shrimp paste, etc.).
Limit the consumption of spicy and hot foods.
Moisturize the lips after peeling is complete.
Schedule a touch-up procedure after 2 months.
