January 24th, 2024, Gangwhoo Hospital and Ho Chi Minh Blood Donation Center collaborates to host a Blood Donation Day. This philanthropic act full of compassion is a continuation of Gangwhoo yearly tradition of blood donation.

Blood Donation Day “A drop given – a hope blossomed”

As every other year, Gangwhoo continue to partner with Ho Chi Minh Blood Donation Center to host a blood donation day. The campaign “A hope given – a hope blossomed” is a collaborative effort from both parties.

This event was not only medically significant but also a demonstration of compassion and social responsibility. By donating blood, we showed our solidarity and helped patients who urgently needed transfusions. We also raised awareness of the importance of blood donation for the society.

Donating blood is a selfless act that demonstrates care and compassion for others. It reflects our commitment to uphold and celebrate the values of the Vietnamese people.
Gangwhoo Cosmetic Hospital, one of the leading cosmetic hospitals in Vietnam, is always proactive and supportive of positive and community-oriented actions. Gangwhoo always leads and encourages the awareness of the campaign’s motto: “Each drop given, a life stays”.

The event was held at Gangwhoo Cosmetic Hospital, located at 576 – 578 Cong Hoa, Ward 13, Tan Binh, Ho Chi Minh City. The mood at Gangwhoo was lively and warm from the start, as many generous donors came to give their valuable blood.

The staff of Gangwhoo Hospital showed their compassion and solidarity by donating blood for a noble cause. Many doctors and other employees volunteered to give blood to help those who need transfusions. This event not only gives hope and life to patients who are fighting for their survival, but also fosters a culture of mutual support and positive humanitarian actions.

Blood donation program ends in a roaring success

With the support of experienced doctors and nurses from both sides, the blood donation process takes place quickly, safely and effectively. Each blood donor was given a health assessment, their blood sample taken and blood pressure measured before donation.

After having donated blood, everyone was issued a blood donation card, monetary compensation and receive gifts with many sentimental values. Many people said they were happy to participate in the event because they were doing something useful for the community and society.

The blood donation campaign “Give Blood – Gift Hope” at Gangwhoo Hospital ended successfully, with 120 people having given blood. We have collected a quantity of blood that meets the target set according to initial estimates. Through organizing blood donation, Gangwhoo Cosmetic Hospital has affirmed its role and responsibility to society. As well as demonstrating health care and community spirit. At the same time, contribute to building a society full of compassion, sharing and love.
